Range Extension

ATLAS-1 will serve as a range extender and communications relay for the smaller HORUS systems. This will leverage a larger, more efficient craft to plunge deep into remote areas where traditional systems are not able to conduct operations. Due to the size of the HORUS UAS, ATLAS-1 will need to be able to relay and amplify their datalinks back to the operator seamlessly. After the HORUS drones complete their mission, they will return back to ATLAS-1 and reattach. ATLAS-1 will then return back to the operators, ready for its next mission.

What we are working on.

We are in the early design stages of proto-ATLAS—a scaled-down test platform built as a proof of concept. Its smaller size and payload capacity will enable faster development cycles and more cost-effective testing of new technologies and design improvements.

Proto-ATLAS is engineered to replicate all the core functionality of the full-size ATLAS-1 system. This ensures that every component and process is thoroughly validated before moving into final design and production.

By working with a smaller test bench, we can accelerate manufacturing, reduce material costs, and conduct flight testing in a wider range of environments—all while laying the groundwork for the larger operational platform.
